Use Social Workout to Motivate Yourself
Sometimes it can be really difficult to motivate yourself to stick to a diet or exercise plan. I know I have difficulty following all of the healthy behaviors like getting enough sleep every night. Social Workout to the rescue. This is a website that allows you to join fitness, dieting or lifestyle challenges to help motivate you.
Each challenge has a duration and a few metrics that are tracked. Each day you log in and enter how much you did for each metric that is measured. For example the ‘Social Workout 101’ challenge I am currently competing in tracks hours slept, healthy meals eaten and number of workouts. It motivates me to follow all the healthy behaviors that I would like to do otherwise. I personally am very motivated by competitions and trying to win, so this is a great site for me.
So what if there are no challenges that you are currently interested in? Not a problem, you can just create your own. I only just joined this website last week, so I don’t know if it will have any lasting appeal. So far I am enjoying it and I hope I manage to pull out a victory in my first challenge.
